What to Pack on a Camp out

Every scout should dress for the season they are camping in.

Remember COTTON is not good for cold weather or Wet weather camping!!!!  It stays wet and keeps the kids cold.  IT'S DANGEROUS so please start investing in High Preformance Clothing. Yes it can be expensive but it is well worth the money.

Hiking boots are best for any campout.  The offer the most protection and foot support for scouts.  It prevents hurting feet.  Keep in mind however without socks on the feet the boots can't do their Job.  Sneakers in Wet or Cold weather are useless - leave them at home.

Patrols in the troop:
You will need to have dry good items that the patrol will use like dishsoap, Trash bags and papertowels.  Check the patrol box you are going to use before the campout to see exactly what might need to be replaced.  These items should be purchased by the Grubmaster when the food is purchased.
